Malan Breton took inspiration for the collection from the 1970's glam rock decade and Studio 54

Malan Breton deemed his Fall/Winter 2016 collection presented at NYFW "Gotham Disco Dollies" and took inspiration for the collection from the 1970's glam rock decade and Studio 54. His collection focused on both menswear and womenswear. The collection felt very hip and fashion-forward.

Raul Penaranda inspired by the late 1990's and early 2000's

Raul Penaranda took style cues from the late 1990's and early 2000's in his Fall/Winter 2016 collection. Throughout his collection, Penaranda utilized shiny fabrics such as silk and satin as well as silver and golden metallic fabrics.

Control Sector’s collection proved the importance to dress as if it were the “The End”

The runway show opened with audio from the 1989 film Ghostbusters II, “The end of the world will be on February 14, 2016…Bill Murray’s character replied, “Valentines Day….BUMMER”…and then the music began as the collection ripped its way down the runway featuring modern, chic, and classy “ready to wear, right off the runway” looks.
