Walter Mendez turned heads as goddess-like models strutted opulent gowns down the runway at Art Hearts Fashion New York

Walter Mendez’s Art Hearts Fashion Fall/Winter 2016 runway show turned heads as female, goddess-like models strutted opulent gowns down the runway in dainty tiaras, luxurious crowns and mysterious black lace masks.

The collection mixed fantasy with fashion, showing designs that had an almost royal feeling to them. Golden detailing as well as elaborate lace textures created that feeling of royalty.

Mendez utilized strong colors such as bold red, striking indigo, daring black and rich yellows and golds. His use of strong solid color as well as feminine textures such as lace and satin created a distinct sophisticated, ladylike elegance. His varied use of flattering, subtly sexy silhouettes only added to that elegance.
