The Filipino designer Rosenthal Tee made yet another lasting impression with the NYFW crowd on September 11th, with the Council of Aspiring American Fashion Designers (CAAFD) and iFashion Network, with her Spring/Summer '17 bridal collection entitled "The Girl, Sisa".
Her inspiration for this breathtaking collection stemmed from her Filipino roots. She incorporated beautiful butterfly sleeves, often seen on terno dresses, with a combination of lace and hand-sewn sampaguita embroidery. Some of the details on her garments even mimicked the traditional barong style, but this was more than tradition, this was style the way you want it!
Rosenthal successfully dressed and drapped the venue beautifully as her bride of models made their way down the runway, flowing gracefully with hand-crafted floral detailed gowns, jumpsuits and cocktails. Her color choices were soft, made up of gorgeous whites, greens and blues. The color palate set the mood and gave a sense of peace and serenity, yet still head-turning and jaw-dropping.
One couldn't miss Rosenthal's show-stopping signature piece and final trademark look of the evening, the white sheer classic dress with white floral embellishments and a flowing long train. It was breathtaking and every brides dream to have all eyes on her. All in all, Rosenthal's creations were over the top amazing and each piece made its own unique impression, exactly what every bride yearns for on her special day!
