John Elliott fascinated viewers as models strutted casual yet refined looks down the runway at New York Fashion Week

The John Elliott Fall/Winter 2016 runway show at NYFW fascinated viewers as models strutted casual yet refined looks down the runway. For this menswear collection, Elliott utilized a wide selection of various neutral colors from heather gray to cozy cream to brilliant burgundy. The color black also played a pivotal role in this collection.

Elliott decided to focus on color for this collection and styled similar-colored designs together for breath-taking monochromatic looks that went beyond hip; the designs emitted a distinct feeling of modernity.

Elliott focused on the jackets in this collection as well and topped his monochromatic looks with awe-inspiring jackets. He utilized a variety of different silhouettes, basic detailing and neutral colors in the designs of his jackets. By using monochromatic neutral colors and a variety of relatively plain woven and knit textiles, Elliott created a sense of refined, hip simplicity with this collection; he took basics to another level.
